Summerville Family Mini Session
Colonial Dorchester State Historic Site is one of the two parks where we offer mini sessions. So many picturesque vignettes in this one spot...river, fencing, green, trees, forts and old brick. For kids, it is an adventure.
Gibbes Museum Event- The Home Edit
The February 2020 luncheon (pre-Covid) presented by the Women’s Council lived up to previous expectations. Documenting Charleston events where style drapes from the tent, florals are here, there and everywhere, food is an art and belly delight along with humorous and extremely talented guest speakers is par for the course at the Art of Design Luncheon.
Maternity Session - James Island County Park
We had planned for a Folly Beach maternity session with these two, but we regrouped to James Island County Park due to high winds. James Island County Park has lush green areas, more neutral marsh spots, draping moss, a few wood bridges, floating docks and dog friendly.
Formal Family Portraits - Customs House
So many milestones and celebrations were postponed, paused or cancelled during 2020. These sisters b’ not mitzvah was postponed. While technology allowed friends and family to witness their rite of passage in the synagogue, their party did not happen.
Wild Dunes - Family Photography
Weaving in a variety of backgrounds into your annual family beach session is always welcome.
If you have a rental or family vacation home with cool walkways, paint colors or stairs; it makes for great contrast to the beach and a wind free spot to begin. Walkways and beach paths are the next stop for green surrounding and great light.
Charleston Engagement Portraits
Strolling Charleston streets is never a hardship. It also happens to be one of the best ways to get to know our future wedding couples. Who they are as individuals and as a pair.
Kiawah Island - Family Portraits
Frequently asked questions… “May we do our large group and then break up into smaller family units, couples and kid solos.” The answer is Yes and this is an examples of what multiple groupings looks like. Sometimes they are pre-planned and sometimes it is just the flow of the session.
Edisto Island - Family Photography
Edisto Island is now in our photography rotation of locations! So grateful this sweet family invited us out to document their family getaway. As we spend most of our sunsets ocean side, it was fun to shake it up with river side fun. It had rained the day before and the back yard looked like a shallow pond, but their ‘can do’ attitudes translated into awesomeness.
