Gibbes Museum Event : The Home Edit

Gibbes Musuem Event Photographers

The February 2020 luncheon (pre-Covid) presented by the Women’s Council lived up to previous expectations. Documenting Charleston events where style drapes from the tent (Social Spool), florals are here, there and everywhere, food by Salthouse Catering is an art and belly delight along with humorous and extremely talented guest speakers is par for the course at the Art of Design Luncheon. The Home Edit duo is known for their home organization system that is designed by color. The draping, food and florals all nod to sorting by colors.

The Women’s Council brought in Clea and Joanna of The Home Edit for the Gibbes Museum Art of Design luncheon. I am intrigued by the confident, funny and successful creatives that have carved a niche market for themselves. Their self-depreciating humor, family antics and focused passion for a beautifully, organized life is inspiring. And I love hearing about how the un-charted career and life is made. Charleston’s own, Molly Fielding led the conversation to flow in a natural cadence.

All of this to say, I am the lucky lady that gets to document all this flare. If fashion or design is your thing, keep your eyes open for this annual event:)
