The relationship between humans and their equine friends is a bond . Corrie creates a mix of curated portraits to include both eyes and smiles at us AND effortless images of in between moments of laughter, awe and presense.

Photographing horses is patience. Similar to couples in that each horse and human combo have a way of fitting and beging together. While Corrie has a general plan in her head, it is more of a guidepost of possibility. Often the natural unfolding with light direction is the authentic connection that equals magic in horse human relationship.
Corrie has loved horses since forever.
She volunteer at LEAP as a feeder for years before falling in love with a horse named Harmony. Harmony was a rockstar therapy horse that brought ease and connection to many people during her time at LEAP. After evacuating with Aiken for her a time or two during hurricane season, Corrie and James found a farm of their own. Harmony and Cruise broke us into to being full time care-givers. Harmony received her angel wings and Cruise went on to jump with young kids. Harmony’s passing left a heart size hole big enough for two more horses. Arlow and Flirt now enjoy the quiet life of a weekly lesson, lots of green grass and a peaceful existence.
