The Barn:

Crafted images where the background goes warm and dark and looks studio-like. She opted for simplicity with a bridle with some razzle-dazzle sparkle on the headband and no saddle.

My goal was consciously connected moments between the horse and her human. Nuzzling, touch, softness and mutual respect. Their contrast of size with Ever being over 17 hands and Amber being petite highlights the tenderness of their togetherness.

The Pasture:

Two being surrounded by nature of the Lowcountry with leaves below, moss above and warm light surrounding them both.

Allowing time and space for moments to unfold with quiet nudges, cues and maybe a peppermint or two. This mare is a love bug and she offered many moments of wrapping around her person in ways that I would consider a hug.

The Pre-Process:

When scheduling the time of day, I ask that you send me some photos of your barn openings, stall openings and tree lines about 2 hrs before sunset. This helps me determine in advance the range of our possibilities as well as set our start time for optimum light. If we are going to utilize a barn aisle, it is best to pull all the eye catchers such as blankets, halters and other distractions in advance.

While I have two that live at home with us, I still get excited to meet a new majestic equine friend. They each have their own blend of magic.
