How does an art project begin? This one started by borrowing a friend’s point-and-shoot camera that had been altered to capture in infrared for a family excursion to New Zealand. We learned quickly that people come out creepy but landscapes, water, sky and architecture really shine in infrared.

The River Course on Kiawah Island is one our favorite to frequent venues. With as many weddings as we have photographed, each has their mood and feel.

indoor play. My family lives outside of Houston which could wrestle with Charleston for heat and humidity. I scouted a few spots that were unique to the area. But it was really hot so we did a fruit basket turnover and skipped the great outdoors in favor of air conditioning.
