Winter Portraits & Winter Palette

Another sweet session at Colonial Dorchester State Historic Site in Summerville along the Ashley River. Our favorite aspects of the park include ruins of the St George Bell Tower, oyster-shell tabby forts, rustic wooden fence and the trees.

A winter session with a winter color palette of ecru and tan came together with a clean and warm look of the light coming through the trees. The little lady was the ‘bringer of the sass’ with and without her leopard print cozy coat. One perfect tween son that wrangled his siblings with no fuss translated to a handsome and confident portrait. And parents that brought the play, proud and tender to the session.

Colonial Dorchester State Historic Site is a South Carolina State Park with the following hours and site fees.

Open daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM during Daylight Saving Time, and 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM the remainder of the year.

Admission Fees:

• Adults: $3.00

• South Carolina Seniors: $1.50

• Children (Ages 6–15): $1.00

• Ages 5 and under: Free
