The Cedar Room Wedding - black tie
Photographer perspective of highlights… Oh the draping for this Cedar Room Wedding was epic. If you want a WOW entrance to your ceremony, draping is such an elegant way to go. I especially love it in the Cedar Room as it adds that elegant and feminine element to the brick and beamed space.
Mercantile and Mash kept the good eats coming such as shrimp, oysters and anti-pasta kabobs. The cake arbour highlights the cake which can get lost in such a big space with high ceilings.
Amongst the bespoke background, the bridal party brought their Fun-Game.The Alpha Lit letters along with the groomsmen sporting their secret service headpieces spoke to the playfulness of the couple. The live painter, Kate Scrivner brushed the essence of the day in one painting.
Engaging Events delivered set the stage for romance, effortlessness and the thousand little details that create the warm and winsome feel. The ceremony took place inside the Cedar Room where the drapes allowed a grand entrance. Cocktail hour moved the the courtyard while the Engaging Events team flipped the chairs for a seated dinner. The space that was once the ceremony became the dance floor. DJ Scott Sain tunes encouraged dance floor amusement, sing-a-longs and some line dance winners. And finally, our couple Caroline and Cameron made everyone cry happy tears with their zest and love for each other.
