Charleston is our base. We love it, we live it, we photograph it and sometimes we travel beyond. Litchfield/Pawleys Island is one of our favorites beyond spots. The area is quiet, lush and Southern. The residents and vendors embody ease and fun. Blend those qualities together with awesome couples and we get magic! Cheers to Della Ramsey Weddings for setting the stage and the Wedding Row Grandstrand for putting together a lovely post.
Late night nibbles such as sliders, grilled cheese sandwiches, fries and cookies with milk have been a crowd pleaser during receptions over the years. And food trucks make late night snacks even better. Diggity Doughnuts truck parked it’s wheels outside the Thomas Bennett House to provide sweet flavors of the couples’ choice. They were a hit!

Rehearsal dinners are another avenue for personalizing a destination wedding weekend. This particular family incorporated their love of sailing and the ocean from venue, Lowndes Grove, to decor. The revved up nautical look was fresh and fun! Navy blue created the base (or anchor) that pulled the whole look together. Orange bloomed from the tables, bowls and drinks with vibrance. The festive appeal was carried through from beginning to end with the creative styling of Ivy Robinson Designs and florals by Tiger Lily! Thanks Ivy for creating this visual treat.
