Location & Setting the Space : The bride asked her parents for a celebration at their family home on the water. Mom and dad went all out in collaboration with Alison Chase Events to create an experience that felt like cozy and magical all in one. The ceremony looked out into the marsh grasses surrounded by pines and loved ones. The tented reception held the space for dining, dancing and lounging. And the band kept the whole guest list of all ages moving their feet, hips and hands.

Memory making moments :

  • Bride and her grand-mother realized they were wearing the same ballet flats.

  • The groom waiting for his bride with his dad, brother and grand-dad along with a few besties.

  • First look is my hands down favorite. That first deep breathe and taking each other in.

  • Their final dance was just for the two of them as their guests lined up for a sparkler exit.

Not your typical venue : Mom reached out to Alison to not only help with design but also the pragmatic aspects such as spraying for mosquitoes, lighting to get to and from cars and most importantly luxury portable potties.
