Harbour Club at West Edge Wedding Reception

The Charleston area has so much variety that narrowing down venues when you want to share the city that you love is a challenge of abundance. These two managed to introduce us to a new-to-us space for their Harbour Club at West Edge wedding reception.

While keeping their day family, fun and feeling focused shared their loved of Charleston with family and guests. The ladies all gathered at the Mariott on Lockwood which was within walking distance of their reception venue (smart move for late nights). The bridesmaids lounged in navy silk pjs while getting hair and make-up done. We did a dad’s first look in the room and them took the bridal party on a walk about in the hotel for photos.

Our Lady of Good Councel on Folly Beach brought everyone in close for a classic, traditional exchanging of vows. The chapel has a reverence with it’s wood beams and stained glass. After I do’s, we found nooks, crannies and jumped across the street to play in a park on the marsh with the family and bridal party before heading back to Charleston proper.

Harbour Club at the WestEdge has a balcony with an amazing sunset view of the river before stepping into an event space of windows and low lighting. Their planner, Allison, kept the party in flow until the pom pom exit in the lobby.
