If you love all things fashion please put the Gibbes Art of Design luncheons hosted by the Women’s Council on your radar. The 2015 Art of Design luncheon brought in Hamish Bowles, International Editor at Large for Vogue Magazine! He gave a lively presentation of his fashion journey from interest, contests, current jobs and future projects. To complete the experience, Jane and Gretchen Floral created amazing floral art in the shape of hats and skirts. Enjoy!
The Gibbes Women’s Council, formed in 1950, was the first auxiliary group at the Gibbes. Members of the Gibbes Women’s Council are encouraged to donate their time, talents, and financial support to the Gibbes Museum by volunteering for various events and programs that benefit the Gibbes Museum and support its mission of enhancing lives through art.
