Magnolia Plantation Wedding Photography - February
Photographing Nicole and Michael’s wedding was a like recess when you are a kid. Their vows were reverent and playful. Family and friends got a true sense of how much these two dig each other. Their personalities were stamped on their music choices, the flow of the ceremony, the decor and their venue. Visually, every aspect was photo-candy. The entire day felt like a great, warm hug.
The couple was kind enough to share their story, wedding plan and vision in their own words below. Enjoy!
‘Our Love Story: Michael and I got engaged in Charleston last January. We met through mutual friends at the Halloween party back in 2014, both of us at the time dating other people. Long distance/long talks on the phone sealed the deal and I moved to Wilmington, NC that summer to start a life with him. We have a love for music, boat rides, animals, and traveling.
Our Wedding Day: Our wedding was at the carriage house at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens and was absolutely beautiful. We used a lot of greenery, white flowers, and pops of gold where we could. The day could not have been more perfect. It all went so smoothly. I've had multiple people tell me it was one of the best weddings they've every been to. I agree!
Our Wedding Vision: I wanted to combine rustic with classic. The Magnolia Plantation Carriage House was the perfect place to do this. I loved the colors green, white, and gold, trying to keep it simple but also chic at the same time.’
