I first met Kevin as he was plotting his proposal. It was pretty epic. A sail was dropped, with ‘Marry me, Liz’ that Kevin had painted at just the right time, in the right place for Kevin to drop to one knee. Then we went on an impromptu engagement session around downtown Charleston. So getting asked to document their wedding was a bonus. It was one of those hazy days where the light was continuously soft (aka photographers dream). They found a perfect house on Folly and made it a family, closest friends and fur family affair. They had a simple, bare-foot beach ceremony. The reception under the house was fun and low-key with delicious bbq and fun-loving dancing tunes.
