Charleston Elopement Photography at White Point Gardens

Charleston Wedding and Elopement Photographer

Evolving Plans: Originally, we were scheduled to photograph an engagement session for these to cuties on their anniversary. About a month prior to the session, I got a call asking if we could shift gears and document their Charleston elopement instead. They rented a perfectly picturesque AirB&B in Cannonborough-Elliotborough area of downtown Charleston. While I helped the bride get dressed, the guys ubered to the ceremony site. The groom made a rose petal path up the stairs of the gazebo at White Point Gardens and then waited for her to to walk down the aisle of oaks. They crossed the t’s on all things legal prior to arriving in Charleston so their ceremony was just the two of them exchanging vows they had written on cards. They danced and then we headed to on photography/celebration stroll.

Oh so special details: The bride sported some super-sparkly pink Keds which was perfect for our stroll after the ceremony. The groom had a first dance song cued on his phone. They ordered a super sweet cake to cut into with more sparkle on the cake topper. And, they face-timed their parents right before they left to say their I do’s.
