Gibbes : Art Charleston 2024

The Gibbes Museum of Art presents a 5 days of ALL things ART. There is something for everyone from design, food, artisans, lectures, education and classes. For me, it is a whirlwind of imagery, candids and relationships.

Art of Design hosted by the Women’s Council is a mainstay of design and inspiration. Guest Hannah Cecil Gurney shared the evolution of hand-made wall paper and the behind the scenes process. Freshly Foraged by chef Kevin Mitchell curated an education foodie experience in the garden with live music. The Artisan Fair brings the local talent together with art lovers and an opportunity to lean about their craft. Visually wrapping it up with adult art classes and experiences. Put your creative hat on and explore. There is so much more, but I picked the visually popping events. Lectures, cocktail hours and tours are also part of the extravaganza.
