ABVI Noir Gala

The annual gala, Noir, a blind dining experience, to support the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired South Carolina (ABVI) is a one-of-a-kind black-tie affair. Guests are asked to put on eye masks and experience dining without relying on their sight.

“ABVI has been helping adults and children who are blind or have low vision live independent, safe, and rewarding lives for nearly 90 years. The proceeds raised at Noir help support the critical education accessibility and vision rehabilitation services we provide.”

Inventiv Environments creates an immersive, sensory experience at Festival Hall. Cru Catering brings their signature drinks and delicious bites with a crowd favorites being mini tacos served in lime wedges and ending the evening with a build your own cannolis. The speakers paint a picture of their life before after sight. They shed light on the challenges that ABVI’s services supports them to navigate and furthermore thrive in their new chapter.

Noir is an evening combining experience, education and a Fun-raiser. The Fun-raiser portion includes raffles, auction and fund-the-need. Their are giving levels for everyone interest. The event is also supported by a team of volunteers if time is your love language of gifting.
