James and I are animal lovers. Or, more specifically, cat, dog and horse lovers. So when a peacock and calf choose to collaborate in our portrait session at Middleton Place, we were cautiously open to it.

Picking the perfect outfit for myself can range from a one minute grab to minutes of staring and coming to no conclusion.  So when coaching families to pull together multiple outfits that will all work together in a photograph, we try to stick to simple suggestions.

Once a week I spend an hour or two loving, feeding and mucking stalls of my four legged friends through a volunteer program for LEAP's barn care.

After a blissful yoga class at Charleston Community Yoga, I walked into an alley of art that made me itch for a camera. The walls inspired me to create a collection. Each model/friend/inspiration picked their own walls and clothing.
