At the end of Isle of Palms, SC is Wild Dunes Resort best known for it’s golf and beaches. It is one of our many frequently visited portrait photography locations.
For this family beach session, we welcome weaving in a variety of backgrounds. They opted for a palette of denim, white and khaki with worked with all of their backgrounds.
If you have a rental or family vacation home with cool walkways, paint colors or stairs; it makes for great contrast to the beach and a wind free spot to begin. Walkways and beach paths are the next stop for green surrounding and great light. Then we mosey our way to the beach for the magic light that is soft on your skin and your eyes.
We consider any tide pools, drift wood or washed in vegetation to be a bonus playground.
The fur family is always welcome! Treats on hand. a leash, doggie poop bags and event a doggie wrangler aka friend or family member is always a good idea. This allows the pup to be part of the session without the pressure for the pups to be in every image.
