Unplanned Moments

One of the many gifts of being behind the camera is documenting joy. Seeing an expression of awe, the face of happiness, the moments of hope and the emotional abundance that invite tears.

Images that are important to our couples and their families are important to us, but we find that the images the couples and parents LOVE are unplanned ones. And with wedding photography we capture pre ceremony, ceremony, family formals, couple and reception from two points of view. The images that hold the memories are the ones that breathe, that have emotion behind them, they may be quiet, they may be funny, but they are rarely posed or pre-planned. They simply show up. So when sitting down to create your shot list be sure to allow space and time. The moments in between the doing.
