Seabrook Fall Family Portrait

We have tried and true ‘go to’ spots on Seabrook, Kiawah, IOP, Wild Dunes, downtown Charleston and a handful of other areas.

Yet, there is something so special about stepping out of ones home or rental and keeping it simple. This family just happened to be surrounded by lush green on one side and expansive river to sea on the other side. When we are surrounded by so much beauty, sometimes curating is the hardest part.

For this fall Seabrook session, we went with our low wind option first. Their street happens to have this beautifully shaped oak draped in spanish moss with the perfect back light for a great Southern vibe great for candids of walking, talking and laughing. These translated into dynamic and bold black and whites. We utilized multiple green spaces to move through our combinations of sisters, solos and family unit.

Next we moved to the water side of the house. Docks make for great lines and floating docks allow us some height for variety. This particular floating dock put them on their own private sand island at low tide. Felt like magic.
