Pups and Fishing

Must have elements…family, pup and fishing pole. They could be our lifestyle photo-session for Vineyard Vine, Lilly Pulitzer, doodles and beach brothers.

As one of our Kiawah classics, this year we opted for an interior session of grasses, rivers and bridges near the kayak launch over the beach focus. The oldest took us to some of his favorite fishing spots and the youngest was having some of the best candid moments with their pup.

We want to capture the look but also the feel. The youngest has an energy that just moves through him. So jumping, laughing, pup licking him and anything where motion is welcome is his jam. The older son is an avid fisherman, diligent pup person and takes big brothering seriously. So photographing him with elements that bring him joy pull out his lighter side.

Their doodle was in full form this year with slurpy kisses, extra head tilts and walking the bridge like a fifth family member. He was however not a fan of the docks:)

Their color palette consisted of navy shorts for the boys and Vineyard Vine blue and white small stripe polos, dad in matching polo and light stone khaki shorts with mom in a pink and white Lily Pulitzer sleeveless maxi dress.
