Engagement Session w Lego twist

GOAL: Our primary goal of engagement sessions focuses on building comfort and establishing a rapport which translates to wedding day ease. Capturing moments that are useful for wedding websites, save-the-dates and possibly a parent gift or two is the bonus.

MAKE IT YOU: These two wanted a ‘nerdy engagement session’ to reflect their mutual interests of cats and sci-fi. The customized bride and groom glasses-wearing legos were part of the theme that I am really hoping will be the wedding cake topper (hint, hint). Will circle back in a year and give you the scoop.

SWITCH IT UP: A mutual friend nudged them to bring a classic clothing look as well. I think the two choices blended nicely and give a full picture. Feel free to bring an extra set of clothes and change midway. It gives you options and us more to play time.

LOCATION: Colonial dorchester historic site in Summerville is an excellent location for all things portraits. Their are so many textures between the cross rail fencing, trees galore, river paths and the ruins. We photographed this session during covid which was another great reason to have alot of space. They marked that moment in time with their his and her masks.
