Legare-Waring House Wedding
The landscapes of Charlestowne Landing and specifically the Legare-Waring House for weddings says Welcome and Southern hospitality like no other. When the must have songs are “They Way You Look Tonight", “Love” and “We are Family”, it sets the stage. The bride and groom centered family throughout their day. Good company, delicious food, music for moving and a ton of Love. Yes, please.
The couple said yes to a first look. We opted for an under the oaks look with spanish moss to anchor the setting. Their family was on hand to jump into family photos. The brides’ husband to be and son wore brackish bow ties as a nod to their Southern vows. The brides’ extended family came in their heritage ceremonial attire to bring some home to the day.
The ceremony took place under the live oak alley with white chairs and florals hold the intimacy of the moment in the middle of the alley’s grandness. We stole the couple away to sign their marriage license inside and practice their first dance before joining the cocktail hour. Cru catering brought out passed hors d'oeuvres in presentations that was in sync with the settings. Think oysters, southern and yummy.
Engaging Events tented the patio. The draping carried over the soft diffused feel of the light through moss and branches. The tablescape were a lovely blend of creams, taupes, green hightlights and pale pink hues. Dining and dancing kept the guests in high spirits. It was a celebration for sure.
