Kiawah Family Portraits

As Kiawah family portrait photographers, each session has it’s own flare between the family, location and lighting. For this family of five, we started on the side of the Sanctuary for lush greens and the textured Palmetto tree trunks. Perfect solution for a low wind, hair-friendly option while making our way to the beach. With an overcast sky that had a pink hue, we jumped to the beach a tad earlier than normal and pulled in the dunes grass elements as well as the ocean.

Our focus was on the five of them together and solos of the kids. Since the kids were teens and tweens with great listening skills, we had more time to incorporate lots of different groupings…siblings, parents, boys, girls, ect.. The sisters requested images of just the two of them that was the perfect way to wrap up the session.
