ibu movement - international women’s day 2024
The Ibu movement combines four strategies into their work and their events : marketplace, capacity building, education and artisan engagement. It means that their gatherings are intentional, personal and spark your spirit. If you love fashion…if you love supporting women…if you love exploring cultural differences…if you love women’s studies…if you love building up others…this might be your jam.
The education portion included Dwight Lamar Bush Sr (Moroccon Ambassador), Kate Nevin (President and Portfolio Mangager TSWII Capital Advisors), Meryanne Loum-Martin (hotelier), Charlotte Moss (A Flare for Living) and Dr. Anne Thornhill Weston (Ashley Hall’s Head of School) which was the equivalent of getting a master course of how women excel on multiple frontiers.
The next international women’s day is around the corner with the same format of education in the morning with an opportunity to connect directly with artisans and shop. The evening event is a combination of heart and razzle dazzle.
