Church & Embassy Suites Ferry Wharf Wedding

Uniqueness : The brides off the shoulder dress was uniquely her and she gave herself permission to switch her wedding hairdo to a ponytail on the day of. The multi-generational dancing was off the charts and the day meandered with a flow of great communication and planning - no stress.

The Day : The couple picked the Nativity Catholic Church on James Island, her family’s church home, for their ceremony. Their (new to us) reception venue was the ballroom at Embassy Suites Ferry Wharf hotel which put us in proximity to the Ravenal bridge and lots of lovely marsh grasses from the couples photos. They also had some very photo-friendly spaces with floral walls, tiled floors and colorful vignettes. The photography focus was on celebration, relationships and documenting the day without it becoming one long photo-shoot. She even gave me the code word…that meant…wrap it up, but we never had to use is:)

Couple’s Words : ‘We love that we are the opposite of each other in every way because together we complete each other. Our most favorite activity is date night Thursday night, no matter what.’
