ALBUM : Putting an album together is another exciting part of the creative processing. The goal is for images to flow in a story form while honoring the time-line, cohesive lighting and emotions of the day. While the cover and layout options are endless, there are a few standard practices. Our Story Art Book always begins on the right side and ends on the left. If we do a layout or spread in black and white, the whole layout will be in black and white for optimum printing. Same with color layouts.

This particular wedding had multiple lighting environments from variously lit interiors, full sun, heavy tree canopies with dappled light, diffused and soft tent light and then outdoor tent with full flash.

STORY : We first met the bride at her sisters wedding years ago, so luckily we had insight to her personality and style… belly-laughing, considerate, family focused, exuberant, luxe, travel mindset and no fuss. The groom is her perfect counterpart and match. They moved through their weekend and day with delight and humor.

PRE-CEREMONY : The ladies got ready in the Cassique locker room which is spacious and had beautiful light for make-up and photogs. The couple had a private first look at Cassique before joining family and wedding party at River Course. Bridesmaids wore soft pink dresses and the guys wore vibrant navy suits.

THE CEREMONY : A handful of our clients shake it up and hold their venue under the oaks facing the venue as opposed to the river. It takes softens the heat and gives the guests some contrast between ceremony and cocktail hour. The ring bearers sported signage saying, “Here Comes YOUR Bride'' and '“Don’t worry ladies, I am still single”. The couple was further framed in by a floral arbor.

COCKTAIL & RECEPTION : Cocktails and appetizers on the lawn overlooking the river. Moved inside the ballroom to cool off during dinner. Shifted back to lawn as the sun got low for a night of dancing under a clear tent adorned with draping and greenery. The couple left with flare in a red convertible.
