Mountains and Music
We are primarily Kiawah and Charleston area photographers, but a mountain wedding in the summertime was a welcome shift! Events by Kiersa made the rustic beauty of Claxton Farms effortlessly charming from start to finish. The tone or tune of the day was emphasized with their love of music.
Our Clients Voice : “Mountains--We LOVE the mountains of North Carolina. Clare grew up going to summer camp here and the Perry family has made it a second home for over 15 years. Together, Clare and Kevin travel to Mountain Air a couple times of year. Music--To set the tone, Clare and Kevin's first date was a Dave Matthews concert. They wove music through the wedding day. During the ceremony, How Great Thou Art & The Lord’s Prayer (sung by Frank Thomas)…echoing through the mountains…awesome! The minister and musicians collaborated to include music notes throughout the homily for emphasis. Dinner tables were labeled by favorite band names such as Third Eye Blind and The Who. And when the band, Sol Fusion played; everyone danced. Other favorites of the day included corn hole and impromptu football during the cocktail hour. Pimm’s Cup, the signature drink, was another family thread as Clare and her siblings were all born in England. Most fun-- Being with closest friends and family from all over. New friendships were made between the guests and English countryside reunions are in the works.”
