Fall engagement sessions that actually look like autumn are kind of rare in Charleston. We lucked out with a cool day that put a touch of pink in our bride-to-be’s cheeks and leaves in transition that framed our couple.

We use our cameras periodically to shine light on non-profits and programs that make our hearts happy. Yes, in this case there is a slight bias. We are extra invested as our horse, Harmony, is one of the four-legged team members!

How does an art project begin? This one started by borrowing a friend’s point-and-shoot camera that had been altered to capture in infrared for a family excursion to New Zealand. We learned quickly that people come out creepy but landscapes, water, sky and architecture really shine in infrared.

The River Course on Kiawah Island is one our favorite to frequent venues. With as many weddings as we have photographed, each has their mood and feel.
