Grandparent Gifts
We are the perfect gift for grand-parents. The experience (we are fun!) and the memories of loved ones are a double bonus. Over Thanksgiving break, we met up at North Charleston Riverfront Park. It was a little brisk off the water, so we hugged the sunshine, historic buildings, trees and walkways for some photo-gold.

Wild Dunes …This particular spot was a treasure as it sat at the end of the street, with great stairs, a put put green framed by Palmetto trees and it let directly over a sand trap with marsh grasses to the beach.

Challenge Accepted : 5 grand-kids under the age of 5 on a Kiawah muggy summer morning. Yes, please.
Mine some gems…
Hoping you found some gems while browsing our blog. Maybe a wedding detail that resonates with you. Possibly a portrait color palette that your family will approve. Perhaps a location that you see in a new light.
Potentially a glimpse into our style and a feel of our clients’ experience. You might also notice as your browse that we have many wedding clients that become portrait clients. We get to document each chapter and milestone as our clients come back each year. It is the best compliment.
We are grateful. Over the years, clients have expanded our horizons.
Our cameras are like a passport to experiences and places in our area of the world that we would never see otherwise.
In one month, we might photograph a Monet exhibition at the Gibbes, island hop for family portraits on Kiawah - Seabrook - Wild Dunes - IOP, maybe an elopement at Angel Oak, a wedding at a private Lowcountry home on the water, a horse session at a new-to-us barn and an inspired gala with a fashion show or blind dining experience.
Our blog is probably the best place to see our style over the course of the last 10-15 years. We do not blog every session. We do not even blog all of our favorite session because of time and some clients prefer to stay off the grid.
