Charleston is a destination spot for many of our couples. We consider ourselves lucky to have so much variety in a city of our size from historic to beach, resort to woodsy and everything in between. It is rare for us to travel outside the low-country for work but it always stirs creativity and usually involves a family that we have worked with before. Ashley and Brian's wedding weekend in Winston-Salem was an excellent way to immerse ourselves in the best of the city's venues, vendors and eateries.

When available, we love the opportunity to photograph the rehearsal. The churches give us freedom to move around for light and expressions that is rarely allowed during the actual ceremony. The couple, family and guests get used to having us around and the natural expressions are abundant.
