Marrying at the Mansion

Print Gratitude for the July/August issue of Columbia Metropolitan Magazine. We are thrilled to see our couple and images find a cover, print story and online home. Our first wedding in Columbia SC at the Lace House and Governor’s Mansion was a fantastic experience. Ben Hough, of Artistic Eye, thought we might be a good fit and sent Mary Rogers our information. Our facetime converstion was one of the most authentic and easy going meetings that I have had to date. At the center of her vision for the day was love and mindfulness.

There were so many highlights from personalized music to fit the mood, family dog among family and friends, nature’s blooms, the florist blooms and a hopping dance floor. The bride and groom set the stage for their wedding and marriage with three elements: Being Present, Moving to the Music and Creating Together Time on a full day. Grab the magazine or check out the online version for more details, images and the couple's words.

A taste of the article: “Although Mary Rogers and Sam talked about getting married, they did not become engaged until New Year’s Eve of 2017. The couple had planned to spend New Year’s Eve at the beach but discovered that the house where they wanted to stay was full. “We ended up in Charleston, and I sensed he was feeling stressed about creating some kind of perfect engagement moment,” says Mary Rogers. “I told him that the perfect moment for me was the moment he was born, and I thought that was the end of the discussion.”
