Legare Waring Micro Wedding
As their wedding photographer, I loved the couples choice of Legare Waring House at Charlestowne Landing for their wedding. Micro, mini, intimate and/or family focused are all good descriptions for this wedding day.
If you want a private, luxe, Southern indoor/outdoor setting for a ceremony followed by a meal catered to your crowd…Legare-Waring House is a great selection. Upstairs, there mulitiple rooms and bathrooms for the ladies to get ready and lounge along the way. The guys have a separate space where they too can take their time and be onsite. The photo opportunities are vast between the grand oak alley, whatever blooms may be in season, spanish moss draping the trees, the main house from all perspectives and lakes create a container separate from the outside world. Our couple selected the grand oak alley lawn as the ceremony site. They dined on the patio complete with fountain and lake bubbling on either side of them.
Duvall Catering put a menu together that had adults, teens and kiddos alike reaching for passed hors d'oeuvres. The main course had three offerings that would make any palette happy. To top it off, family style dessert trays kept coming out and each one looked like the next best treat. Intimate numbers allow for a relaxed flow, kids to run off their energy and photography to follow the light.
They had a tender first dance and ended the night with a bubble exit.
Upon seeing the images, our couples words : “Wow. These are AMAZING! We can’t wait to order them and get them in our home and with friends and family”.
