Location : Photographing family portraits on Kiawah Island at the Sanctuary is such a special location. The green spaces on the front side allow us wind free options and an opportunity to connect with our clients before heading to the beach. The walk out to the beach has a lush, jungle feel which then opens up to grasses and dunes. Combined with the wide beaches and reflections at low tide, it is a pretty dreamy spot for photographers.
Light : Yes to an overcast day. While we often hope for sunny beach days, overcast light is equally lovely. It is a little cooler with more blue/grey and it generally easier on the eyes for most people.
Clothing : This crew usually is styled in JCrew or Vineyard Vines and they look magazine ready. Blues, whites and pops of yellow.
