Ocean Park : Kiawah Family Portraits

Fall family portrait at Ocean Park :

Late November on Kiawah has the possibility of being barefoot of the beach weather or brrrr windy gusts. While we have some Chicago and New York clients that don’t mind the chill, we like to have interior options especially for the littles. Ocean Park at the very end of Kiawah is a great option for a fall, Southern feel and no wind. It has deep greens, spaces to run, live oaks, textured grasses and moss, a few bridges, swings and water. Yep, we keep our eyes open for gaters.

Maternity to Mr Man is One :

Our first portrait together was a maternity portrait the previous year with a baby belly and dog. We were delighted to get to photograph them again 1 year out with the generation above and below. Luckily Charleston and the surrounding islands are destination spots packed with family traditions. It is such a pleasure to be part of the tradition and to document all the chapters. They are not locals (yet) but they are regulars.

Pro-tip : Scroll to the end and check out the little guys socks. It is more common than not for littles to shed their shoes. Definitely grab some tiny socks that have a little pizzazz and personality to match.
