Wedding dresses have a life of their own. They are carefully selected, fitted, seamed, steamed, preserved, walked down the aisle and danced into the night. The job of the dress is done after the wedding. Or is it? A handful of brides sell their dress. Some have ‘trash the dress’ sessions ( a photography session where they go into the ocean, or play on a farm with horses, etc ). Another option that my sister-in-law took advantage of was to transform the skirt of her dress to a bassinet skirt. It is pretty sweet to see her little one nap surrounded by ‘the dress’.
