A trip becomes a vacation in my eyes when horses are involved. During a once in a life-time family trip to New Zealand my folks arranged a Christmas Day ride through the Ben Lomond Horse Trekking Company. My dad, James and I rode along the mountain ridge and back through the creek beds in Lord of the Rings country. Afterwards I was drawn to a little horse zen time and James picked up to camera to capture the wonder of our day.
