We like to keep clients. There is the obvious business and marketing reason, but for us that is secondary. Reaching the point where kids are at ease, where parents just enjoy and the whole session feels like going for ice cream multiplies with each session. Three sessions in and many years later, the family shows up, we play, we dance, we giggle and image goodness is made. We are looking forward to documenting the next chapter.
Modern Museum wedding with green touches, bowties and Southern charm galore. What makes this wedding stand out in our memories, is that it was a hurricane reschedule. The Burlap Elephant did a great job of connecting with all vendors to reschedule the date.
Charleston is a destination spot for many of our couples. We consider ourselves lucky to have so much variety in a city of our size from historic to beach, resort to woodsy and everything in between. It is rare for us to travel outside the low-country for work but it always stirs creativity and usually involves a family that we have worked with before. Ashley and Brian's wedding weekend in Winston-Salem was an excellent way to immerse ourselves in the best of the city's venues, vendors and eateries.
When available, we love the opportunity to photograph the rehearsal. The churches give us freedom to move around for light and expressions that is rarely allowed during the actual ceremony. The couple, family and guests get used to having us around and the natural expressions are abundant.
Happy Dance! Opening A Lowcountry Wedding magazine and finding Ali and Ian's weekend celebration highlighted is a fabulous feeling. The magazine and blog have an abundance of lovely inspiration and we are honored to be included. Engaging Events outdid themselves with seamless planning, florals and decor.
First Mini Session scheduled for October 4, 2017. Clients requests (sometimes) become the little nudge to get us to expand in a new direction. We are hoping the mini sessions fill a few needs. If you do family portraits every couple of years, this might be the perfect something in between. If you have fessed up that you have hundreds of photographs of child #1 and 20 photographs of child #2 ( or 2 picture of child #3), this might be a good fit. If your kiddo is in the phase where everyday they seem to be changing before your eyes, go for it. Or if your budget is feeling tight, we still want you to have milestones and keepsakes.
